MHS dancers team up with boys for a swing dance

On Thursday, December 17 during the pep rally, the Lionettes will perform with 8 boys from the school for a swing dance. The music is a mix of songs from Grease.
The dancers have begun practicing hard. "The stunts are fun to do, but I'm scared that I will drop my partner," says Charlie Lynn. Dieja Martin responded with, "Yeah, it really hurts when you are dropped!"
The dance includes solos from the boys, the swing dance, and solos by the girls. Overall, the dancers are having a great time and learning how to swing dance.
The Lionettes are also preparing a performance with the song "Fire Burning." The date of the performance will be announced at a later time.
