Saying Good Bye

As teenagers, very few of us want to have jobs, we would rather spend time being unproductive with our friends. However, in many situations, our parents don’t give us the option to have a job or not. They just make up a bogus reason, saying we need to make money for college or for gas. I don’t fully disagree with this, but we could just get a loan; we have the rest of our lives to work. Most parents won’t give into this argument, if they make you get a job, the next best option is to get fired.
When thinking about some surefire ways to get fired, I decided to turn to the Internet to get some ideas. While looking through some lists of ways employees were fired, I found five ways that will result in you losing your job.
The first way to be fired is to warn potential employees to run while they still can. For example, when your boss is interviewing someone or showing them around the office, explain to them how bad the job is and tell them your boss is a hard person to work with. This is definitely a great way to make your boss mad. If he or she confronts you about it or just warns you the first time, continue this until the boss has finally had enough.
Two similar ways are to schedule clients or customers on days that don’t exist, for example, September 31st or February 30th. This is definitely a way to irritate the boss and potentially be fired. Also, make flyers stating you will be holding interviews in your office to find your replacement, and hang the flyers around the building. Your boss will not appreciate this at all, and when you are confronted about the flyers, refuse to take them down.
Another great way to agitate your boss is to “accidentally” park in his or her parking spot on a regular basis. If necessary, show up early to work to be sure the parking spot is available. When asked about it, tell them it was an accident and continue with your work. If you find showing up early to park in your boss’s parking spot doesn’t work, go to the next extreme; show up late.
If you use this advice, be sure to stop on your way for coffee and a donut. If your boss asks you why you're late, be sure and have a note signed by your mother explaining why you are late. Obviously your mother will most likely not sign this note, so you may just have to sign the note for her. This is a great way to up set your boss and possibly put him or her over the edge.
As you may be beginning to understand, getting fired from your job may be easier than you think. If you decide to use my advice, you are very likely to be jobless when you leave. However, only do this if you are sure you don’t want a job, because the chances of you getting your job back are very slim. So, use this advice at your own risk.
