Cross Country Too Fast for Competition
The MHS Cross Country Teams traveled to Lincoln Thursday, September 2, for their first meet of the season. The Girl's team took 1st place, while the Boy's team placed 2nd. Individually for the Girl's Team, Anna Trahan placed 3rd, Lucy Giles 4th, Kylie Gragg 5th, Shelbi Hamilton 6th, and Emma Giles 13th. Students at MGS will notice changes in the schedule for 2010-2011. In an effort to address academic concerns in Reading and Math, each classroom will provide 90 minutes of Core Instruction in Reading and 60 minutes of Core Instruction in Math every day.
